3:00 PM SWITCH at CSIRO: Changing Workforce Mindsets and Increasing Mobility through Collaboration, Innovation and Data Analytics
CSIRO is currently embarking on a ‘SWITCH’ strategy, which challenges staff to switch the way they think and to switch on a collaboration mindset. As part of the strategy, CSIRO has focussed its workforce trend metrics on three areas: Attraction, Retention and Mobility. This session will explore how CSIRO uses consultation and metrics to increase buy-in to innovative workforce mobility programs and to reinforce the importance of strategic alignment.
- Boosting secondment numbers to help build relationships and foster collaboration with universities, government and industry
- Understanding the specific metrics and analysis needed to plan for talent sourcing and talent mapping
- Developing an evidence-based approach to ensure buy-in from the CSIRO board and senior managers to invest in new workforce programs
