Western Australia’s Department of Education has worked on a journey developing the National Workforce Data Strategy to assist in creating a deeper understanding of supply issues in the national school workforce. Through their internal HR Metrics and strong development strategies, the Department has become an influential guide in assisting universities and schools to understand the supply of their workforce. This session will be a case study overview on the strategies at the Department of Education, with insights into ways organisations can further enhance their capabilities and influence the workforce plans outside of their own organisation.
