With roughly 2000 diverse employees, the Department of Finance is embarking on a Departmental Plan that encourages each division to manage and have responsibility for their own workforce. Additionally, by adapting a joint approach with project deployment and business priorities, the department is able to create tools and manage data to assist divisions in understanding the frameworks and processes. This session will explore how to encourage ownership for managing workforces and effective allocation of responsibilities.
- Understanding each division’s needs and how to effectively take them through the tools and processes to mentor them into managing their workforce
- Investigating how workforce ownership can influence a mobile workforce and give employees opportunities through those movements
- Analysing data collection to create successful team structures and responsibilities to meet business objectives and maximise productivity for the future
